Smells of the Season
Pungent cinnamon
Coupled with warm apples.
Freshly baked honey ham
Buttery, crumbly biscuits.
Vanilla bean candles
Burned to their limit.
A freshly cut Christmas tree
Pine filling the living room
While the smells of cooking
Fill the kitchen
Blending into an odd arrangment
Of all smells of the season.
