The Hippie Manifesto

The time has come
To spread our wings
And catch what winds we can.
To become one with the universe
And decide what it means for us.
To be free of worldly possessions
Worldly cares
Worldly worries
And be who we were meant to be.
We are not alone
But we are wiser
Than those who worry
About what others think of us.
We are free from the normal cares and concerns
Of our ancestors.
And we embrace the future with open arms.
